Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you're carrying anxiety, depression, mood changes, or emotions that seem difficult to manage on your own. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel heard without judgment and supported through life's challenges. Whether you're navigating ADHD, bipolar disorder, anger management concerns, trauma, grief, relationship struggles, identity questions, or simply feeling stuck, my goal is to help you better understand yourself while building the tools you need to move forward. I work with both adolescents and adults, recognizing that every stage of life brings unique experiences and obstacles. Together, we'll create a supportive, collaborative environment where you can explore what's weighing on you, discover your strengths, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership built on trust, openness, and respect. My style is warm, open-minded, and participatory, meaning we'll actively work together to identify patterns, overcome challenges, and develop practical strategies that fit your life. I tailor treatment to your individual needs using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Problem-Solving Therapy, and behavioral interventions. Whether we're addressing OCD, PTSD, stress management, maternal mental health, LGBTQIA+ concerns, family dynamics, or major life transitions, my focus is helping you build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create sustainable progress that extends beyond our sessions.

What you can expect from me

When we meet, you can expect a welcoming space where you don't have to have everything figured out before you begin. We'll take time to understand your experiences, clarify your goals, and create a treatment plan that reflects what's most important to you. I value honest communication, collaboration, and meeting you where you are, celebrating progress while working through setbacks with compassion and curiosity. Therapy is a process, and you won't have to navigate it alone. If you're ready to take that next step toward healing and growth, I'd be honored to support you along the way.
