Great to meet you!

Welcome to a different kind of conversation...

The distance between a teen and a parent often feels like a canyon. One side feels unheard; the other feels pushed away. In my practice, I don't just work with individuals - I work with the space between you, where the blame game ends and real understanding begins. For over 20 years, I've helped families build a bridge so that everyone can stand on the same side again.

I view our relationship as a collaborative partnership; while I bring the tools, you are the expert on your own family. It's important that you feel supported, respected, and free from judgement, especially if things feel "messy" or hard to say out loud.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in building a safe harbor for the modern family, where everyone is truly seen and heard. My approach is multi-dimensional, helping to bridge the gap between parents and teens:

  1. Parents-I provide a dedicated space for you to process your own feelings of exhaustion or worry ~ without the fear of being judged or told you're doing it wrong.
  2. Teens- I am here to help you find your real voice and navigate the pressure, stress and the digital noise of your world ~ without being just another adult telling you what to do.
  3. Family- Together, we'll look beneath the surface to understand the why behind the behavior. We move from tension to a deeper emotional bond where everyone actually wants to share in each others worlds.

Remember, we aren't here to find out who messed up; we're here to find out how to move forward.

~When you are at your best, your family is at its best~

What you can expect from me

It's ok if you don't know where to start or if you have a hard time opening up; we will move at a pace that feels right for you.

Most families I work with describe me as bringing a mix of warmth, directness, and even a little humor to our sessions-because healing doesn't always have to feel heavy.

Many of my clients report feeling a sense of accomplishment early on by creating small, achievable markers.

By supporting your individual growth, we naturally create a more harmonious home where everyone can succeed together.

I invite you to schedule your first session today and begin building the bridge that brings you back together!
