Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kristina. I work with people navigating anxiety, trauma, identity, and the weight that builds up when life gets genuinely hard. That includes LGBTQ+ youth and adults, adolescents with disabilities, couples, people of color, and clients who have felt like the system was not

built with them in mind. My approach is integrative and strengths-based, with CBT and trauma-informed care at the core, and I show up with genuine empathy and honest

directness. I have received training in exposure and response prevention, psychoeducational testing, and family and forensic psychology, and I have worked with couples, court-mandated individuals, and clients who struggle financially. Reach out when you are ready. (Psy.D.,

Hofstra University 2022; MA, Teachers College Columbia 2015.)

My approach to therapy

Professionally, my goal has always been to meet struggling individuals where they are, and guide them using evidence-based methods, always delivered with genuine empathy, gentle honesty, and with the client's needs in mind. It is important to me to ensure that clients know that they are being treated by someone who understands where they've been, has respect for how far they've come, and is equipped with the tools necessary to address presenting problems from a variety of different angles. As such, my approach is integrative, humanistic and strengths-based, and has strong cognitive-behavioral and trauma-informed underpinnings.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an evaluation. We will spend time getting to know each other: what brings you here, what your life looks and feels like right now, and what you are hoping to find or feel differently. By the end, you will have a clear sense of how we might work

together going forward. I want you to leave feeling genuinely heard and a little less alone with

whatever you came in carrying.
