Great to meet you!
I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood and supported without judgment. My approach is warm, collaborative and practical. I work with you to understand what’s underneath the challenges you’re facing, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck and develop realistic tools to create meaningful change.
I have worked in the mental health field since 2009 and have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor since 2017. I hold a Master’s Degree in Education in Rehabilitation Counseling & Mental Health from Hofstra University and am also a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. My professional experience has included working with individuals and couples across a variety of settings and with diverse backgrounds and concerns.
I work with adults, teens and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress and behavioral concerns. I have a particular interest in helping women navigate the emotional impact of health challenges, hormonal changes and major life transitions, as well as helping couples improve communication, break unhealthy patterns and rebuild connection and trust.
I use an integrative, evidence-based approach drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), solution-focused therapy, positive psychology and mindfulness. I tailor treatment to each person rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Most importantly, I want therapy to feel like a partnership. You bring your experiences, strengths and goals, and we work together to help you feel more confident, resilient, connected and like yourself again.
