Great to meet you!

Trauma can create a response much like a pebble thrown into a still pond. The incident may seem small at first, but it ripples outward and disrupts your sense of control, balance, self-worth, and confidence. Those distressed feelings can amplify intrusive thoughts, unpredictable emotions, and even physical symptoms that interrupt your relationships, career, and daily life. I am a licensed therapist with over 17 years of experience working with adults across every level of care. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and the complex aftermath of abuse and assault. My goal is to help you rebuild the peace within.

My approach to therapy

A session with me might include challenging negative thoughts you may have that triggered bad feelings and unhealthy behaviors. We might also look for ways to uninstall negative core beliefs about yourself, and replace them with more desirable thoughts and feelings. In turn we can work on building skills that bring you closer to the life you want. As a Licensed professional counselor while utilizing Inner Child work, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Somatic Experiencing we can alchemize trauma trapped in the body and begin to rewire your neural pathways to enhance and create peace, love, and joy in your life.

What you can expect from me

You don't have to be alone in your struggles or in your journey of self discovery. As your therapist I will take the time to get to know you, walk alongside you, encourage you, and help you manage life’s challenges. What difference would it make for you to feel seen, heard, and understood? I am standing by ready to hear your story with empathy and compassion.
