Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, I work with adults who are struggling to break harmful cycles, deepen insight, and move towards their full potential. I treat both acute and chronic symptoms with highly individualized care. My theoretical framework is flexible in approach and heavily rooted in depth psychology. It is through understanding that we grow, and through practice that change is sustained. My approach is client-centered, direct, and empathetic. The aim is to assist you towards the life you desire.

My approach to therapy

Humans experience a complex and deep array of internal and external difficulties. The world is seen through the lens we learned, and what worked at one time can later do harm. Information passes through many gates before a response is produced. Treatment is collaborative and non-judgmental. The work draws on psychodynamic therapy (understanding why a pattern exists), cognitive therapy (how thoughts shape reactions), ACT (taking action on what matters), and motivational interviewing (working with mixed feelings about change). If one path doesn’t work, we adjust the approach.

What you can expect from me

The first session will consist of formal intake questions and the development of treatment goals. If a good fit is established, subsequent sessions will be determined by your needs and preferences and by provider availability.
