Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist who provides warm, evidence-based care to people from many different backgrounds and identities, including women Veterans, LGBTQ+ individuals, culturally diverse communities, and those living with complex medical conditions. I specialize in chronic pain, sleep difficulties, women’s health, eating disorders, and relationships/dating. My approach combines compassion with practical tools that are backed by research, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapies and mindfulness-based strategies. In addition to my clinical work, I have a strong research background in pain, sleep, and emotional well-being, which helps me stay current with the most effective treatments. I’ve worked in hospitals and medical centers alongside healthcare teams, giving me a deep understanding of the connection between physical and emotional health. Above all, I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel understood and supported as you work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

This first session is a chance for us to connect. I’ll get to know more about you—your story, your current needs, and what you’re hoping for in therapy. Together, we’ll explore options that might support your goals and wellbeing. It’s important to know that not every treatment path I suggest will be the perfect fit, and having this session doesn’t always mean I’ll be your ongoing therapist. If another provider or resource feels like a better match, I’ll help guide you in that direction.
