Great to meet you!

Kristina has a variety of experience working in mental health- in the public-school setting, university setting, both in-patient and out-patient hospital settings, and with community counseling agencies. In addition, Kristina has a background in performing arts which inspires her to use creative/expressive arts in her work as a Therapist.

Kristina takes a holistic and trauma informed approach, and utilizes DBT, CBT, Attachment focused, Humanistic, Positive Psychology and Mindfulness based therapy modalities to empower, affirm, support, and help educate the individuals she works with to gain insight and to make positive changes into their lives.

My approach to therapy

Each of us are unique and so are our struggles. As unique as we are, there are times in our lives when we feel challenged, stuck, exhausted, overwhelmed, or lost. It can be beneficial to seek help from someone outside of our situation to help us find ways to make a positive change and to move through these trying times.

Kristina sees teens, adults, couples, and families navigating stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, transitions, relationship challenges, and grief. Sessions take place in a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental tele-health atmosphere.

What you can expect from me

Kristina uses compassion and kindness to cultivate the therapeutic relationship, empower individuals to develop the skills needed to cope during challenging times, and to build self-esteem while gaining personal insight, recognizing one’s strengths, value and resilience, and to start taking control and making positive changes in one’s life.

Kristina welcomes the opportunity to assist you on your journey, working together to relieve the challenges you face in life. Afterall, "emotional well-being is just as important to us as breathing is!"
