Great to meet you!

Born and raised in Los Angeles, as the daughter of Filipino immigrants, I understand the barriers/stigma related to expressing emotions and accessing mental health services in Asian American and minority communities. Suppressed emotions can not only lead to emotional distress but also affect your body and soul. As a licensed clinical social worker who has been in the healthcare field in hospital and outpatient settings for decades, I have seen the toll, first hand.

I decided to become a therapist when I realized that it's ok to have uncomfortable feelings, to acknowledge them and and learn from them what we really want out of our lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we focus on mindfulness, self-compassion, and building the skills needed to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and authenticity.

What you can expect from me

By holding a safe space for you to be heard without judgement, I hope to help you see your existing values, strengths and learn new skills to help you adapt and cope. I am passionate about helping you achieve your goals of growth, wellness, and personal joy.
