Great to meet you!

Welcome!

I'm so glad you're here and taking this step toward healing and growth.

I initially came to this work from a small town community where I experienced stigma and misunderstanding surrounding mental health. An intense curiosity around this misunderstanding, alongside a deep passion in the intersection between art, science, people, and storytelling brought me to art therapy.

I graduated from Mount Mary University with a Masters in Art Therapy and Concentration in Counseling. Since, I have achieved licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), and Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC).

I work with adults, adolescents, and couples in the State of Colorado.

My heart is particularly drawn to supporting:

  • Neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD
  • Members of the LGBTQ+ community
  • Individuals recovering from addiction, navigating sobriety/moderation, or wanting to further explore their relationship with substance use
  • Clients wanting to heal from trauma, including complex and relational traumas
  • Anyone navigating grief, loss, death, and end-of-life concerns, including death anxiety

I also regularly support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, communication issues, identity exploration, and trauma.

Outside of my work with clients, I also supervise interns and new clinicians. I'm incredibly passionate about helping the next generation of therapists grow and learn!

My approach to therapy

My therapy approach is collaborative, eclectic, and flexible in order to best meet your needs. A core part of my practice is Art Therapy, which offers a powerful way to express and process feelings when words aren't enough.

Alongside art therapy, I often weave in modalities including:

  • Person-Centered and Relational approaches (focusing on collaboration and connection)
  • Trauma-Informed care
  • Existential therapy
  • Somatic experiencing
  • Skills from ACT, mindfulness, IFS, and CBT

Ultimately, my hope is that our work together helps you forge a new, more sustainable path toward lasting happiness, healing, and growth!

What you can expect from me

I'm here to offer you a genuinely safe, warm, and non-judgmental space where your unique journey is honored. I truly believe you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—meeting you exactly where you are—to help you discover and build the life that aligns with your deepest goals and values.

Our first session will predominately be focused getting to know one another to see if we're a good fit. In essence, it acts as a vibe check! I'm passionate about helping clients find the best fit for them, even if it doesn't happen to be me!

To help figure this out, authenticity becomes increasingly important. When we can be real with each other, it creates an environment where deep healing and self-understanding can truly flourish. Whether you're expressing yourself through words, art, or just sitting in silence, your exploration will always be met with warmth, gentle curiosity, and supportive feedback.
