Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Private Independent Practice (LCSW-PIP), I believe that addressing environmental stressors alongside mental health is an important part of a holistic approach to achieving greater happiness, stability, and overall well-being. I have been a practicing social worker since 2020 and, over the past year, have shifted my primary focus toward providing therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, end-of-life concerns, and chronic suicidal ideation. I recognize that seeking support can be one of the hardest steps to take, and I strive to provide a welcoming, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and empowering. I'll meet you where you are while creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel comfortable being yourself. At the same time, I’ll help you gently challenge patterns, thoughts, or behaviors that may be keeping you from where you want to be. I view therapy as a collaborative process—we’ll work together to better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize your strengths, and identify practical ways to create meaningful change. My goal is to support you while also encouraging growth, helping you build greater confidence, insight, and the tools needed to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin creating a comfortable, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope to gain from the experience, and any challenges or concerns you would like to address. From there, we’ll work together to develop meaningful goals, gain a greater understanding of the barriers you may be facing, and identify steps toward meaningful and lasting change.
