Great to meet you!

My name is Kristine "Kristy" Youst. I have experience working with children, adolescents, college students, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship issues, infertility, and grief. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Auburn University and earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. I am fluent in English and Spanish.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Therapy provides an opportunity for individuals to learn and grow personally with the help of a supportive professional. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Person-Centered Therapy and Narrative Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

Some seasons are more difficult than others and you do not have to do it alone. It's important to have support. My compassion and authenticity create a safe environment for my clients to achieve personal growth and hope for a brighter future. I approach each client on an individualized basis and strive to empower, support and strengthen their well-being and mental health.
