Great to meet you!

You don’t have to pretend you’re okay here.

You shouldn’t have to filter yourself in therapy. Maybe anxiety has become hard to manage. Maybe depression has left you feeling disconnected, unmotivated, or unlike yourself. Maybe trauma or painful life experiences are still affecting your relationships, emotions, or daily choices. Or maybe you’ve been carrying things for so long that you’re not even sure where to start.

I’m Kristopher, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, stress, self-esteem issues, and life transitions.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, judgment-free space where you can be honest about what you’re feeling, better understand what has been weighing on you, and begin moving toward a healthier, more grounded version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful change starts when you feel safe enough to be honest.

Therapy is not about having the “right” words or pretending everything is fine. It is a space to slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and work through life’s challenges with someone who is genuinely in your corner.

My approach is supportive, practical, and collaborative. Together, we will explore the patterns, experiences, emotions, and choices that have shaped where you are today while also building tools you can use outside of session, including coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, healthier communication, and ways to manage anxiety, depression, trauma responses, stress, or substance use triggers.

Our work will move at your pace and stay connected to your goals.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what has been feeling most difficult lately and what you hope will begin to change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you start.

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, guarded, disconnected, or unsure how to explain what they’ve been carrying. My goal is to make that first session feel calm, respectful, and judgment-free. We’ll talk through what brought you in, what has helped or hurt in the past, and what support would feel most useful moving forward.

You can expect me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, and work with you at a pace that feels manageable. Over time, our work may focus on building coping skills, understanding emotional patterns, strengthening relationships, and helping you feel more grounded and in control of your life.
