Great to meet you!

I provide individual therapy for adults navigating relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, identity exploration, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but internally struggle with people-pleasing, overthinking, cultural pressure, boundary setting, or feeling disconnected from themselves. As a first-generation daughter of Chinese-Jamaican immigrant parents, I deeply understand the complexity of balancing cultural expectations, family dynamics, achievement pressure, and personal growth. If you’re working through attachment wounds, relationship conflict, low confidence, or questions about who you are and what you want, therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself and build a more grounded, confident foundation.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I offer a safe space to reflect, process difficult emotions, and build practical tools to move forward with greater ease. Together, we explore patterns in relationships, negative self-talk, anxiety cycles, and internalized expectations that may be impacting your well-being. I integrate evidence-based strategies to support emotional regulation, boundary setting, communication skills, and self-compassion. Therapy with me is not about fixing you - it’s about helping you better understand yourself so you can make intentional, values-aligned choices in your relationships and life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll gently explore what brought you in - whether that’s relationship stress, identity concerns, anxiety, low mood, or feeling stuck in familiar patterns. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your experiences and what you hope will feel different moving forward. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We simply start where you are. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of how I work, initial clarity around goals, and a clearer idea of what the next steps in your therapy journey can look like.
