Great to meet you!

As a Master's degree counseling recipient with a concentration in mental health, I have an extensive background in counseling within clinical, residential, and community settings. I have over nine years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Individuals who struggled with depression, anxiety, stress management, ADHD/ADD, sleep issues, substance abuse, relationship issues, grief and loss, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem issues, mood disturbance, mania, and psychosis.

My approach to therapy

I use a client-centered approach because I believe therapy should focus on you (the client) and meeting you where you are. I also incorporate a holistic approach in treatment to emphasize synergy between mind, body, and spirit. Other methods include, Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Psychodynamic approaches. I will be here to support and guide you through the therapeutic process because I understand that the appropriate approach to client care is essential to therapeutic success.

What you can expect from me

Throughout your therapeutic journey, you can expect to learn new coping skills, a different approach to life's challenges, and an increased understanding of who you are and where you desire to be. Therapy is like taking a road trip per se. On this road there can be roadblocks and rough terrain, but having an open mind, a willingness to try, and determination to move forward, you can discover possibilities and purpose along your journey towards growth, purpose and prosperity.
