Great to meet you!

I'm Krystelina — a bilingual (English and Spanish) Latina therapist with 14 years of clinical experience and a doctorate in psychology. I work with individuals, teens, couples, and families across the Inland Empire, High Desert, and throughout California via telehealth. My clients tend to be people carrying more than they let on: adults managing anxiety or depression who've never had a space that felt truly their own, couples trying to rebuild trust and communication, families navigating cultural expectations and generational stress. If therapy has ever felt inaccessible, too clinical, or like it wasn't built for someone like you — I want to change that.

My approach to therapy

I draw from Gottman Method when working with couples, CBT and MBCT for anxiety and depression, and SFBT when clients need practical traction fast. I'm warm but direct — I'll challenge you when it helps and hold space when that's what you need. I believe the relationship between therapist and client is as therapeutic as any technique, so I invest in understanding who you actually are before I hand you a framework. I also bring my own cultural lens as a Latina woman — I understand the weight of family loyalty, the complexity of bicultural identity, and the particular exhaustion of carrying a community's expectations.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a real conversation — not an intake form read back at you. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you've already tried, and what you're actually hoping life looks like on the other side. I'll share how I work and we'll decide together if we're the right fit. You don't have to have it all figured out to show up. Most of my clients come in not knowing exactly what they need — that's exactly where we start. Sessions are available in English or Spanish, virtually throughout California or in person at my Apple Valley and Rancho Cucamonga locations.
