Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted—not judged.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I work with adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, stress, and the effects of difficult or traumatic experiences. I’m especially interested in helping clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns in their relationships, and develop healthier ways of coping and connecting.

My professional experience includes working in community mental health, where I’ve had the opportunity to support clients with a wide range of concerns and backgrounds. My training has strengthened my interest in attachment, trauma-informed care, and helping people build a stronger relationship with themselves and others.

I don’t believe therapy is about telling you what to do. Instead, I’ll work alongside you to understand what’s happening, identify what you want to change, and develop practical tools that fit your life. My goal is for you to leave therapy feeling more confident, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. We can start exactly where you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and create meaningful change.

I take a trauma-informed and attachment-focused approach, with attention to how past experiences and relationships can influence the way we think, feel, and connect with others today. I also incorporate practical, evidence-based strategies to help you manage anxiety, depression, stress, and other challenges in your day-to-day life.

In our work together, I want you to feel safe enough to be honest and explore the parts of yourself that may be difficult to understand or talk about. We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you while also identifying realistic steps toward the life and relationships you want.

Therapy isn't about “fixing” you. It's a process of understanding yourself with greater compassion, building new skills, and learning to respond to life in ways that are more intentional and aligned with who you want to be.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin creating a comfortable, trusting space for therapy. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping to work on, and what you would like to be different in your life.

I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, relationships, strengths, and current challenges, while giving you space to share at your own pace. We’ll also begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing what you would like our work together to look like.

Most importantly, you don’t need to have everything figured out before your first session. You can simply show up as you are. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead.
