Great to meet you!

I'm Krystle (they/them), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and queer, non-binary Latinx therapist. I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ adults, couples, and families — particularly those navigating identity, life transitions, racial or cultural identity, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I earned my MSW from NYU and bring 6 years of clinical experience to this work. I'm not just an ally — I'm part of the community I serve, and I bring that lived understanding into every session. Whether you're 18 or 40, figuring yourself out or trying to figure each other out, you don't have to start by explaining the basics.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative and deeply person-centered — I pull from CBT, ACT, IFS, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed frameworks depending on what you need. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Some sessions are skill-focused and practical; others are slower, more exploratory. What stays consistent is that you lead, I follow. I'm here to help you build insight, develop real tools, and move toward the version of your life that actually feels like yours. Culturally humble and social-justice grounded, I work hard to show up without assumption.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low-pressure and conversational — think of it less as an intake and more as a first real conversation. We'll talk about what brought you here, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and what's felt hard. I'll share a bit about how I work, and we'll figure out together if it's a good match. There's no script and no pressure to have it all figured out before we meet. Most clients leave the first session feeling heard rather than assessed — that matters to me.
