Great to meet you!

I'm a queer Ukrainian immigrant and I love creating a safe space for people who frequently feel overlooked to feel safe and whole. While working in community mental health for the past 6 years I have had the privilege of supporting and getting to know individuals of all walks of life with vastly different needs for support. That's why I believe in being a co-conspirator with my client, approaching any challenges as a team. While I may be the therapist, you are the expert of your own life and experience.

My approach to therapy

I work psychodynamically through an intersectional and systems lens. What does that mean? I see each person as a unique ecosystem of experiences and identities that interact with our complex and flawed world. My approach works from the inside out and outside in, inviting you to go deep into your stories about yourself while also building skills for how to approach the day to day within the systems that we exist in.

What you can expect from me

In the first session I want to know what your goals are and what you would like to work on. I want to know as much as possible about everything you want me to know. Then, together we make a plan of action. As you gain more insight into yourself, goals naturally change we'll shift our approach along with that.
