Great to meet you!

Therapy can be challenging and reflective, but progress can also come through laughter, conversation, and the events of the day.

For ten years, I've worked with people from a variety of backgrounds with a wide range of experiences. My approach focuses on practical solutions while exploring the deeper patterns that may be contributing to a person's struggles.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to meet clients where they are. Some are looking for practical tools and strategies they can start with right away. Others are interested in understanding relationship patterns, life experiences, or the deeper causes of their struggles. In practice, most people benefit from a combination of all of the above.

What you can expect from me

The first session is usually conversational, finding out what's bringing you in and what you'd like to get out of therapy. Taking time getting to know each other and talking about the present-day challenges. Toward the end of the session, I'll typically begin gathering more detailed history and assessment information, which may continue into the second session.
