Great to meet you!

Are you looking to make a change in your life, your job, your relationship, your sense of purpose or something else? By working together we can create the path to bring about the change you are looking for.

My approach to therapy

Thanks for taking the time to check out my profile. I have over 20 years of experience providing therapy for adults. I'm also comfortable working with adolescents 16 and up. I prefer an eclectic approach drawing elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy for Trauma. For the past 20 years I've had the privilege working with Veterans with the Dept. of Veteran Affairs where I continue to work overseeing Residential Treatment Programs for PTSD, Substance Use Disorders, and other Mental Health Concerns. I also have a background in Philosophy that always guides my approach.

What you can expect from me

I will make sure your first visit is easy. We will spend some time helping you feel comfortable and get a sense of what is going on for you right now. The next few visits we'll spend some time learning more about your history and get a sense of what is important to you. We will use a shared decision making approach to find the direction we want to take to meet your treatment goals.
