Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist with a passion for supporting teens and young adults through some of the most difficult, confusing, and important chapters of their lives. I earned my undergraduate degree from Spelman College and went on to receive my master’s in social work from Walden University, where I focused my training on therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

I specialize in helping young people navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidal thoughts, identity issues, self-harm, family conflict, school and peer struggles, and relationship concerns. My goal is to help you feel heard and understood without judgment—because I know how much that matters. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need a place to talk honestly, therapy with me is built to meet you where you are.

My approach to therapy

I use a down-to-earth, collaborative approach that meets you where you are. We’ll talk in ways that make sense to you, and I’ll help you explore what’s underneath your choices, emotions, and patterns. I draw from tools like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care—but I also care about what actually works for you. Expect a mix of processing, skill-building, psychoeducation, and moments of humor or clarity. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, self-harm, family stuff, friendships, or just trying to feel better in your own skin—we’ll figure it out together.

What you can expect from me

You can expect to leave sessions with more understanding of yourself and more tools to deal with whatever life is throwing at you. We’ll work on making sense of your story, finding your voice, and building confidence to make choices that feel right for you. Therapy is a space where you can be real—even when things are messy—and still be met with respect and support. Over time, you’ll notice that you’re not just surviving—you’re growing and creating a life that feels more like your own.
