Great to meet you!

After 20 years in the U.S. Army and a decade working in inpatient psychiatry, I understand

what it means to carry weight that the people around you can't quite see. I work withveterans, first responders, and anyone navigating a major life transition, stress, trauma,

or the everyday pressure of holding it together. I am here to help you find your footing.

Reach out whenever you are ready.

My approach to therapy

My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment

Therapy, and Trauma-Focused CBT with Narrative Therapy and a strength-based lens. In

practice, that means our sessions are conversations, not checkboxes. We might work on

reframing the stories you tell yourself, building practical tools for managing stress and

anxiety, or using mindfulness to help you stay grounded under pressure. I draw on

Motivational Interviewing when we are working through ambivalence, and on family

systems approaches when relationships are part of the picture. Whatever brings you in,

we start from what you already carry, not what you lack.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a real conversation. I will ask what brought you here and what you are

hoping for, and you share whatever feels right. There is no script, no pressure, and no

judgment. By the end of that first session, you will have a clearer sense of what we will

work on together and, most importantly, what it actually feels like to talk to someone who

has been in many of the same rooms you have. Many clients leave feeling a kind of relief

they were not expecting.
