Great to meet you!

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and I strive to create a space where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered from our very first session. I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, grief and loss, and relationship issues, while also supporting individuals navigating substance use, OCD, family concerns, LGBTQIA+ experiences, cultural and ethnic issues, women's issues, identity exploration, trauma, and PTSD. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by life's challenges or working through long-standing patterns, we'll work together to better understand what's getting in the way of the life you want to live. I welcome adolescents, adults, and older adults, and I believe therapy should honor your unique experiences, strengths, and goals while helping you build meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. My style is warm, empowering, and infused with humor when it feels appropriate, creating an environment where you can be yourself while doing meaningful work. I draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Narrative Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Strength-Based approaches, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you better understand your experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and move through trauma with greater confidence and resilience. Together, we'll build on your strengths while creating practical tools you can use outside of our sessions.

What you can expect from me

When we work together, you can expect a compassionate, judgment-free space where your voice and experiences matter. I'll meet you with warmth, curiosity, and respect while encouraging you to challenge patterns that no longer serve you and recognize the strengths you already possess. My goal is to help you feel supported while building the confidence, insight, and skills to navigate life's challenges long after therapy ends. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin, we'll take each step together at a pace that feels right for you.
