Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania with nearly 20 years of experience in behavioral health, helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, identity concerns, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions.

I believe that meaningful healing happens through connection, understanding, and a trusting therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where you can explore difficult emotions, better understand yourself, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges.

I specialize in trauma-informed therapy, PTSD treatment, anxiety therapy, depression counseling, grief counseling, and identity exploration. My therapeutic approach integrates psychodynamic therapy, attachment-based therapy, relational therapy, interpersonal therapy, and somatic approaches. I have specialized Level 1 training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a body-oriented approach to trauma treatment that explores the connection between physical sensations, emotions, and psychological experiences.

I also draw from strengths-based therapy, motivational interviewing, and experiential approaches, tailoring treatment to each individual's needs and goals. My experience across private practice, community mental health, and residential behavioral health settings allows me to support clients facing a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.

My approach to therapy

I believe that feeling safe, respected, and understood is essential to successful therapy. My style is warm, patient, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I recognize that discussing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or painful life experiences can be challenging, and I will work with you at a pace that feels comfortable. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I focus on understanding your unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Together, we will explore patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress while building greater self-awareness, resilience, and healthier relationships.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know one another and explore what brings you to therapy. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant personal history, relationships, previous experiences with therapy, and what you hope to accomplish. Together, we will identify meaningful treatment goals and develop an individualized approach to your care.

As therapy progresses, we may explore how past experiences, trauma, attachment patterns, and relationships influence your current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate psychodynamic, relational, attachment-based, or somatic techniques to help you process difficult experiences, manage anxiety and depression, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop more effective coping strategies.

Whether you are seeking therapy for anxiety or depression, PTSD and trauma treatment, grief counseling, or support with identity and relationship challenges, I am committed to helping you feel more connected, confident, and empowered to create meaningful change.
