Great to meet you!

My journey as a therapist began as a volunteer for suicide prevention lifeline for LGBTQ youth. The experience of supporting others as a lifeline counselor motivated me to study Social Work as a graduate student at New York University. I received postgraduate training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy. I am trained in the use of EMDR from the Parnell Institute.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work relationally and humanistically with patients. The relationship that we build over time is an instrument of healing and can serve as a model for building authentic and meaningful relationships with others as well as heal the wounds of past relational experiences. I specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma. I am warm, empathic, and believe humor can be a powerful force for healing.

What you can expect from our first session

I provide a safe and supportive environment within my practice where patients can work toward a deeper understanding of themselves. I hope to facilitate self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love.
