Great to meet you!

If you're navigating a medical diagnosis, caring for a loved one through a hard diagnosis, or just trying to hold it together through a season that feels too heavy and uncertain, you don't have to carry it alone. Over the past six years, I've worked alongside people and families moving through exactly that kind of stress, the sudden health crisis, the slow grind of anger or grief that follows, the relationships strained by it all. I bring a warm, collaborative style to our work, one built on creating a space where you feel heard and supported, not judged or rushed.

My approach to therapy

I believe you're the expert on your own life, so my role is to listen with curiosity, offer a fresh perspective, and help you figure out what actually works for you. We'll draw on motivational interviewing, acceptance-based therapy, and narrative work, which in plain terms means exploring the stories and patterns shaping your experience, naming the values and strengths that can guide you forward, and balancing honest reflection with strategies you can use outside our sessions. Therapy is collaborative, and we'll adjust as your needs and goals evolve.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll go over informed consent and what to expect from therapy together. I'll invite you to share what brought you in and any background that feels relevant, at whatever pace is comfortable for you. From there, we'll talk through what you're hoping to get out of therapy and start sketching clear, realistic goals. It's also your chance to ask me questions and get a feel for whether I'm the right fit.
