Great to meet you!
Prior to becoming a counselor, I worked as a teacher, mentor and community organizer for over 15 years helping children, adults and families build confidence, resilience, communication skills, and leadership through mentoring and nonviolent communication (NVC). I have experience supporting clients from diverse cultural, religious, socioeconomic, ability, and mental health backgrounds, including neurodivergent individuals, immigrants, and people experiencing crisis. I hold a certificate in Grief-Informed Counseling and work with concerns such as grief and loss, anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationships, trauma, depression, self-esteem, chronic illness, communication, and spiritual/religious issues. If you’re interested in functional medicine, I’m happy to collaborate with other providers to support a holistic care model.
