Great to meet you!

From a young age, I always knew that I wanted to seek out a career in mental health. My experiences in adolescence and young adulthood showed me the importance of having supportive individuals in your corner. Unfortunately, not everyone has access to those individuals. My goal has always remained to provide non-biased support and guidance to children, teens, and adults who are left feeling alone while navigating life's challenges. Providing support for others and bearing witness to their growth and success is what furthers my motivation in this field.

My approach to therapy

The challenges that we are often faced with can cause behavior and emotion patterns that can be difficult to break. Using multiple treatment modalities geared towards each individual client, my work centers on making clients feel safe enough to open up and learn to identify their patterns, in turn being more in control of their own personal healing journey. I work towards helping clients recognize the strengths they already possess and hone in on those to find success.

What you can expect from me

Our first session will be an opportunity to get to know one another, assessing informally for overall goodness of fit. We will discuss your background, what brings you to therapy, and any past experiences that might be helpful as we begin our therapeutic journey. Our first session will be informal and geared towards helping mitigate any nerves or fear around beginning therapy. I aim to make our time together light and comfortable, while still working towards and reaching our goals. I employ an open-ended approach that I hope will make you feel comfortable in making our time together whatever you need it to be.
