Great to meet you!

I grew up in California in a blended, multicultural, and multilingual family and I often work with clients with multicutultural backgrounds navigating the modern world and systems, complex identities, grief, and/or neurodiverergence. I started out in art and education before I shifted to focus more directly on mental health. I have worked for over 16 years with youth, adults and families in various settings, often based in schools, with the last nine years in mental health.

My approach to therapy

I help teens, young adults and adults, many of whom deal with co-occurring anxiety, depression and/or ADHD. I have a warm, personal and integrative style. I tailor my approach to the needs and interests of my clients, exploring holistic elements of lifestyle, stressors, relationships, and understanding more of the interconnectedness of neurobiology and the nervous system on mental health.

What you can expect from me

Clients often walk away with feeling seen, more hopeful and less alone in their journey early on. Often, my clients report improved self-worth, healthy coping skills, lifestyle shifts, relationship and communication skills. They feel better with personalized ways to manage stress and life's ups and downs such as ways of regulating the nervous system to feel supported and more in control.
