My approach to therapy

My therapy and assessment styles are relational; so if you do not vibe with me, I will help you find another therapist. I use a trauma-informed and affirming approach. I do this by trying to create safety in our interactions, remembering that you are the expert in your life, focusing on empowerment, and seeking correction and feedback. I also use an evidence and strength-based approach to improve areas that need development.

What you can expect from me

After a first session, clients should have a greater understanding of their distress. feel more relaxed, and have at least one suggested way to reduce their distress. If you would like to learn more information about myself or my therapy practices, please see my website https://transformativehealth.net.
