Great to meet you!

I recognize that you are the pilot of your own life, and I'm here to work as a collaborator to help you reach your goals. I like to incorporate skills from CBT, DBT, and ACT modalities to bridge the gap between your current perspective and one that could serve you and your relationships in a more fulfilling way. I like to include visual aids, charts, and metaphors that help with implementing new practices into your world. Most of my clinical experience has been in treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, life transitions, OCD, and relationship issues. I have worked in the field with a wide range of populations. My experiences have allowed me to build trusting, therapeutic relationships with individuals and families across different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

Over the course of my career, I've found that cultural competency helps people to more deeply cater their treatment to their own lived experience. I believe that the intersection of all my marginalized identities helps me to be sensitive to racial trauma, systems that uphold patriarchal standards, and the harmful impacts of homophobia/transphobia and other prejudices. I've been practicing virtual therapy for more than 3 years now, and I firmly believe that telehealth therapy is the future of mental health. I am passionate about the accessibility it brings to treatment and the creative freedom it allows for my clients to learn in ways that suit them best.

My approach to therapy

I take a tailored, empathetic approach to your treatment.
