Great to meet you!

My journey as a therapist has allowed me to work with individuals during some of life's most challenging moments. I began my career in hospital settings, supporting patients in trauma units and emergency departments before transitioning into community mental health as a case manager. From there, I found my passion in crisis intervention, helping individuals and families navigate overwhelming situations with compassion, stability, and hope.

Today, I work in a secondary school setting, supporting adolescents and teens through the unique emotional, social, and academic challenges that come with this stage of life. Throughout my career, I've seen firsthand how much support young people need, and how often they feel misunderstood or overlooked. Those experiences inspired me to build a private practice where I can provide more personalized, intentional care.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a space where adolescents, teens, and young adults feel heard, respected, and understood, not talked down to or rushed. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, or simply trying to figure out who you are and where you're headed, my goal is to help you build confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward a life that feels meaningful and authentic.

If you're in that in-between season of life, discovering your identity, facing difficult emotions, or trying to make sense of what's next. I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a partnership. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual's unique needs and experiences. I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment.

I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed care, while meeting clients where they are emotionally. Together, we'll explore the thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck, identify practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges, and build on the strengths you already possess.

Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, or simply trying to better understand yourself, my goal is to help you gain confidence, develop healthy coping strategies, and create lasting, meaningful change. Therapy isn't about having all the answers. It's about discovering them together at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been challenging, what you've been experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

There is no expectation that you have everything figured out before starting therapy, most people don't. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest, asking questions, and sharing your story at your own pace.

By the end of our first session, I want you to feel heard, understood, and confident that you are in a space where you can be supported. Together, we'll begin identifying goals and developing a plan that feels meaningful and realistic for you.
