Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kyra and I’m a licensed therapist who believes healing starts with feeling safe, seen, and supported.

With over 6 years of experience providing therapy across the lifespan, I specialize in helping people move through trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and questions around identity. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), both of which are evidence-based practices designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma in a structured, compassionate way. I enjoy working with emotions, challenging traditional narratives and debunking taboos prevalent in your life.

I’m a graduate of Gettysburg College and Lehigh University, and I’ve worked in a wide range of clinical settings, walking alongside clients from all walks of life. I understand the power of being heard without judgment and the courage it takes to do this work.

My work focuses on treating trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity development, and interpersonal challenges. I specialize in working with Black and Brown populations and deeply understand the layered experiences of navigating systems, culture, and emotional health. I bring cultural sensitivity into every room I enter—but I welcome and work with all people who are ready and willing to do the work of healing and growing.

My approach to therapy

Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals and families facing challenges such as trauma, anxiety, identity development, relationship issues, depression, and major life changes. My clinical style is warm, relational, and culturally responsive—centered on creating a space where you feel seen, heard, and understood. I believe therapy is both a place for healing and self-discovery, and I approach our work with compassion, curiosity, and a belief that your story matters.

I create a therapeutic space that is relational, collaborative, and affirming. My clients often describe me as warm, real, and deeply engaged. I believe therapy is a place where you can bring your full self—your pain, your questions, your goals—and be met with care, insight, and support.

What you can expect from me

Clients who work with me often say they feel supported in making meaningful change while also being gently challenged to grow. Together, we’ll identify patterns, unpack emotions, and build new tools that support your well-being—not just in session, but in everyday life.

If you’re feeling stuck, unsure, or just need a space to process what life is handing you, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and build new strategies that allow you to feel more grounded, empowered, and aligned with the life you want.
