Great to meet you!

Life can feel overwhelming at times, and you don't have to navigate those challenges alone. Whether you're a teenager struggling with emotions, an adult experiencing anxiety or life transitions, a couple working through relationship challenges, or a family wanting to improve communication, I'm here to help. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families facing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, emotional challenges, and relationship difficulties. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe therapy isn't about having everything figured out; it's about discovering your strengths, gaining confidence, building healthier connections, and taking meaningful steps toward personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my clinical experience includes providing individual, couples, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, emotional regulation difficulties, relationship conflict, and life transitions. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Experiential Therapy, Relational Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Solution-Focused Couples Therapy. During sessions, we may work through real-life situations to identify negative thought patterns using CBT, practice communication skills through role-playing and experiential exercises, or explore how past experiences and relationship dynamics influence current behaviors. With individuals, I help identify personal strengths, develop coping strategies, and establish achievable goals. With couples, I guide structured conversations, communication exercises, and solution-focused activities to help partners understand one another, resolve conflicts, and rebuild emotional connections. My goal is to create an engaging therapeutic experience where you feel supported, challenged, and empowered to apply what you learn in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and my goal is to make you feel comfortable, welcomed, and supported from the very beginning. In our first session, we'll start with introductions, discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your concerns, and identify what you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your background, relationships, and experiences to better understand your needs. My sessions are conversational, interactive, and collaborative, allowing you to share openly without fear of judgment. As we continue working together, we'll explore emotions, identify patterns, practice coping and communication skills, and develop practical strategies you can use outside of therapy. Depending on your goals, sessions may include guided discussions, reflection exercises, therapeutic activities, and personalized homework. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working toward meaningful growth and lasting change.
