Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kelly(Kyung)! I provide counseling for individuals and couples, with a focus on supporting Korean-speaking couples while also working with English-speaking clients. Recognized as a Child Mom Approved Counselor in 2023, I bring over 20 years of ministry experience and counseling training from Dallas Theological Seminary. I support clients navigating anxiety, grief, and life or cultural transitions, helping couples move toward stronger, healthier, and more connected relationships.

My approach to therapy

I practice from a Person-Centered framework, providing a safe, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic environment. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, with an emphasis on mindfulness and wellness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy within the context of your cultural background and unique experiences. For clients who wish to incorporate their faith, I offer Christian-informed counseling in a respectful, client-led, and clinically appropriate manner.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a space for you to share your story and what you hope to gain from therapy. My priority is to create a safe, welcoming environment where you feel heard, respected, and supported. Together, we’ll begin building a strong therapeutic relationship and clarify the goals that matter most to you. From there, we’ll continue working side by side toward meaningful and lasting growth.
