Great to meet you!

These are extraordinary times, and each of us faces what is in front of us differently; my work is to meet you as an individual who is balancing multitudes and support you in your journey. Graduating more than a decade ago with an from University of Albany's School of Social Welfare; earlier graduate work was concentrating in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally I spent over ten years working as a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator, which has offered me a unique background for working with families, particularly birthing individuals.

LGBTQ populations, alternative family structures (specifically poly arrangements), kink, sexuality, gender identity, grief, and trauma. Adolescents are a population that I fully enjoy working with; on the flip side, working with parents to support them as they manage all of their identity roles is also an area that I find very fulfilling to support.

Working from family systems perspective that is informed by feminist & queer theory and cultural humility, I like to work from holistic perspective, paying attention to the whole of your identity. My goal is form a collaborative relationship to increase self-awareness, recognize strengths, and create achievable goals.

I regularly take trainings, participate in peer supervision, and read materials to deepen knowledge, to learn new frameworks in order to meet my clients more effectively.
