Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My approach is centered on meeting clients where they are, creating a supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and respected. I work with clients to identify their strengths, navigate challenges, and develop healthier ways to manage emotions, relationships, and life transitions. My goal is to empower each client to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-awareness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is supportive, honest, and client-centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are while also helping them challenge the thoughts, patterns, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck.

I work with clients by creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can talk openly, gain clarity, and learn practical tools they can use outside of session. My style is warm, direct, and empowering, with a focus on helping clients build self-awareness, healthier coping skills, stronger boundaries, and better communication.

I have experience working with a diverse population and support clients through concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, self-esteem, life transitions, stress, and emotional regulation. My goal is to help clients feel seen, supported, and equipped to move forward in a healthy and more confident way.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they can begin sharing what brings them to therapy at their own pace. I use this time to learn more about the client’s concerns, background, strengths, current stressors, and what they hope to gain from counseling.

Together, we will begin identifying goals that feel realistic, meaningful, and connected to the client’s needs. I also explain my therapy style, answer questions, and work to make the process feel comfortable, clear, and collaborative. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, respected, and with a better sense of direction for their healing and personal growth.
