The initial session includes a semi-structured psychosocial assessment, where we will discuss your current concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and goals for treatment. This process helps me gain a comprehensive understanding of your experiences while allowing space for you to share what feels most important.
I strive to balance gathering the information needed to develop an effective treatment plan with creating a comfortable, conversational experience. Clients are encouraged to ask questions, share their expectations for therapy, and discuss what they hope to achieve. By the end of the session, we will begin identifying goals and collaborating on a path forward that is tailored to your unique needs and circumstances.
