Great to meet you!

I work with women and teen girls who are doing their best to keep everything together — but underneath the surface, anxiety, ADHD, depression, or family stress is quietly making it harder. I've been doing this for 15 years, and I bring something a lot of therapists can't: I have personal experience with ADHD. I know what it actually feels like to live with it — the missed deadlines, the racing thoughts, the frustration of trying so hard and still feeling like you're falling behind. That lived understanding shapes how I work with every client.

My clients often describe me as warm, energetic, and real — someone who helps them figure things out rather than just nodding along. I see women across all stages of life, from teen girls navigating identity and pressure to adult women managing careers, relationships, and everything in between.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), with Emotion-Focused Therapy woven in when we're working through relationship patterns or family dynamics. That combination means we can work on the thoughts and behaviors that aren't serving you and the emotional roots underneath them.

I'm direct and practical — I believe therapy should produce real, noticeable shifts in your everyday life, not just insight that stays in the room. But I also know when to slow down and just be present with you. Every client is different, and I adjust my approach to fit what you actually need, not a predetermined model.

What you can expect from me

The first session is yours to tell your story. I'll ask about what's going on, what's brought you to therapy, and what you'd like to see change. There's no pressure to have it all figured out before we start — most people don't, and that's exactly why they're here.

By the end of our first session, you'll have a clearer sense of what we're working toward together and how I can help you get there. All sessions are via telehealth, so you can connect from anywhere in Texas or Illinois — on your lunch break, after the kids go to bed, or whenever actually works for your life.
