Great to meet you!

If you are a future client of mine, I want to say welcome, and I am so glad you are here. I have been practicing as a therapist for the past 5 years, working with all ages, and a variety of different diagnosis. I have experience working with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, substance use, Self-esteem / identity issues, personality/mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach as a therapist is client centered, because this is your care, and your needs a voice deserves to be heard. As a mental health therapist, I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive space, working alongside you offering compassion, guidance and practical tools to help you navigate life's challenges. I am EMDR certified, CBT certified, and trained in DBT, ACT, IFS, play therapy, art therapy, and safety planning. I am always learning and wanting to grow in this field, and my trainings and certifications with continue to grow throughout my career.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on building rapport and creating a safe, comfortable space where you feel heard and supported. We’ll begin by exploring what you hope to gain from therapy and what has brought you in, ensuring your goals and expectations guide our work together. From there, we’ll identify clear, meaningful goals, explore any barriers that may be getting in the way, and outline practical steps toward progress. I also like to discuss what ‘completion’ of therapy might look like—not to create pressure or set a strict timeline, but to help us think forward and recognize when your goals have been achieved.
