Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm glad you've found me! I am a dual certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a background in emergency medicine. I specialize in providing thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. At Sonora Psychiatry, our philosophy is to, "Bloom From Within" --helping you understand what's beneath the surface, build on your strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change from the inside out. My goal is to provide individualized, collaborative care where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered to become the healthiest version of yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized--I want you to feel heard, not rushed or reduced to a diagnosis. I take time to understand the full picture, including your symptoms, lifestyle, medical history, stressors, goals, so we can determine what treatment makes the most sense for you. I combine evidence-based medication management with education, lifestyle considerations, and supportive strategies tailored to the individual. At Sonora Psychiatry, treatment is a partnership: I'll provide guidance and expertise, but you'll have a voice in your care as we work towards helping you bloom from within.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for me to truly get to know you--not just your symptoms. We'll talk through what brought you to seek care, your medical and psychiatric history, current challenges, lifestyle, and what you hope to feel or function differently in your life. Together, we'll identify your priorities and create a personalized treatment plan that may include medication, lifestyle strategies, education, and other supportive approaches. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, understood, and hopeful--with a clear path forward and a plan that feels right for you.
