Hello! My name is Chawnda Szudlo. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with an extensive background in mental health to include inpatient, outpatient, forensics, geripsych and adolescents. I completed my master's degree from Northern Kentucky University. My passion for psychiatry is based on my strong and genuine interest in helping you achieve “mental wellness” rather than focusing on “mental illness”.

My goal as a provider is for patients to leave every session with attainable goals. Our first session will be focused on obtaining their mental health history and a thorough understanding of their symptoms. I take a holistic approach, looking at the full picture of the potential stressors and triggers instead of treating the presenting symptoms. Typically, my patients leave their first session with lab work orders, medication instructions, and a list of therapists to establish care if needed
