Great to meet you!

I have 11 years of experience in the field, with a License In Marriage and Family Therapy, a License in Addictions Counseling, and a Registration in Play Therapy. I work with adolescents, couples, and families who need help with conflict, depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, & obsessive-compulsive disorder.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I focus on the whole person & their environment because I understand that each individual is impacted by what is around them. I use systemic approaches to look at a client's experience & couple that with experiential approaches like art, play, & sandplay therapy. These methods are beneficial for all client types, as they help people access information that they aren't completely aware of. I also use exposure & response therapy & acceptance & commitment therapy to manage OCD, phobias, & trauma.

What you can expect from our first session

My over-arching goal with a client is to build a solid rapport as a base for helping the client reach their goals of self-improvement, symptom reduction, and skill-building. I do this through traditional talk therapy and experiential techniques that help with grounding, self-awareness, and hands-on examples of how people are impacted by the world around them.
