Great to meet you!

I am an Army Veteran who transitioned into the social work profession after completing my military service. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Counseling, followed by a Master of Science in Social Work, and ultimately achieved licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

My clinical career began as a Substance Use Disorder Specialist, a role in which I developed a deep appreciation for the complexities, challenges, and rewards of supporting individuals on their path toward self‐determination. In 2019, I began formal study in Trauma-Informed Care, and I now actively speak and provide education to promote trauma awareness and support trauma-responsive practices.

My approach to therapy

As a compassionate and dedicated therapist specializing in trauma-informed care, I have dedicated eight years to providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore and heal from past traumas. With a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma, I employ a holistic approach tailored to each client’s unique needs. This approach integrates mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and somatic therapies. My commitment lies in fostering resilience and growth, enabling clients to regain control of their lives and build a future of hope and stability.

What you can expect from me

My sessions will be a transformative journey, with some sessions covering extensive ground while others delve deeper, requiring resilience-building. The essence of your journey lies in its uniqueness. My role is to guide us along the path you envision. Ultimately, you will emerge from our sessions feeling heard, validated, and understood.
