Great to meet you!

Greetings!

As a therapist, I believe it is important to walk in your purpose and I believe I do that every day. My name is Laijun English, and I am a counselor that provides treatment for teens and adults dealing with life’s challenges. I have Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Georgia Southwestern State University and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fort Valley State University.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is mainly CBT which focuses on challenging those negative beliefs/thoughts and making them positive. But I do use strategies from other therapeutic styles. So, whether you deal with anxiety, anger, depression, low self-esteem, grief/loss, daily stressors, trauma, trials and tribulations today is the day that you seek the help you need.

What you can expect from me

I understand the importance of a client being able to find a counselor that they can connect with in more ways than one. The reason why I got into counseling is because I realized that more people who looked like me needed to see us in these same spaces and recognize that mental health is something that we all deal with.
