Great to meet you!

I am a clinician who believes that you are the most knowledgeable when it comes to your experience. I use skills building and resource tools to support you in claiming what you need from therapy. My approach combines tangible tools, affirming and safe practices, as well as somatic exercises to navigate what is bringing you into therapy. I blend my training in Contemplative Psychotherapy and Buddhist Psychology with my passion for Loving-Kindness Anger Practices and Awareness in order to create a therapeutic space that can hold the vastness of your lived experience, with endless abundance to hold all that arises in session.

My approach to therapy

I bring a holistic approach to therapy, one that capitalizes on the spaciousness and safety provided by my studies of contemplative practices and Buddhist Psychology with my interest in Loving-Kindness Anger Practices to create a unique space that offers you exactly what you are looking for...because you are able to learn and know what it is that you need. I believe in continuous ongoing education and pushing to learn more than we knew yesterday. I actively engage with anti-oppression and am building an understanding of decolonizing my practice more and more each day. I work within my practice and am always looking to be more inclusive in building my advocacy and creation of safe spaces for those with marginalized identities to land and process.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm smile, and invitations to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable. You can guarantee I will make at least 3 jokes throughout our first session together (laughter pending). I like to begin by setting the stage if you will, and that includes that parts of the space that you are bringing in and the parts of the space that I am holding for and with you.
