Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Lainy and I’m a licensed clinical social worker with about 7 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through life’s harder moments. I specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community, women's issues, and more. My background includes school social work, therapy, and supervising MSW interns, which has given me a strong foundation in both clinical work and real-life, day-to-day challenges people face.

My approach to therapy

I tend to take a holistic, down-to-earth approach to therapy. I care a lot about creating a space where you feel comfortable showing up exactly as you are—no pressure to have things figured out. My work often focuses on anxiety, stress, life transitions, identity development, and supporting people through what they are experiencing and feeling.

What you can expect from me

Our fist session can look however you need it to. Tell me your life story or only tell me what is necessary. It's up to you. I do like to ask what brought you to therapy, what you are hoping to get out of it, and how I can help you feel safe, seen, and progress along your journey.
