Great to meet you!

I treat all of my clients with respect and expect the same in return. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients can show up exactly as they are and feel comfortable doing so. Therapy is not a fashion show—I’m not concerned about your hair being done or appearances. My focus is on helping you reach the best version of yourself, both internally and externally.

I have experience providing therapy to both children and adults, using a trauma-informed approach. My areas of experience include working with individuals facing depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders. I am committed to supporting clients with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care as they work toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I work alongside clients to create a safe, supportive space where they feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to each individual, so I meet clients where they are and move at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful for them.

I use evidence-based interventions to support children and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and psychotic disorders, while maintaining a strong focus on trauma-informed care. I recognize the impact trauma can have on emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being, and I prioritize safety, trust, and empowerment throughout the therapeutic process.

My style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. I encourage honest conversations and practical skill-building while also allowing space for reflection, emotional processing, and personal growth. Together, we work toward strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, and helping clients develop a deeper understanding of themselves so they can move toward their goals with confidence.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. This session is focused on getting to know you—your concerns, your experiences, and what led you to seek therapy. There is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with; we will move at a pace that feels safe and respectful for you.

We will discuss your current challenges, personal history, and any goals you may have for therapy. Together, we will begin identifying what you would like to gain from our work, whether that is improved emotional well-being, better coping skills, healing from past experiences, or greater self-understanding. I also take time to explain the therapy process, answer questions, and ensure you feel informed and supported.

The environment I create is one of trust, safety, and collaboration. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful, with a clearer sense of direction and a plan for moving forward. Therapy is a partnership, and the first session is the foundation for building a strong therapeutic relationship.
