Great to meet you!

Hello, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment. My goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop healthy coping strategies that lead to lasting emotional well-being.

I believe that healing begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, I strive to create a welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to achieve your goals.

I am committed to providing culturally responsive, client-centered care and look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a healthier, more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I have experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, behavioral concerns, stress management, self-esteem issues, family conflict, and relationship challenges. I utilize evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, Mindfulness, and Play Therapy for children.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where you feel safe sharing your concerns. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, current challenges, strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve through counseling.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process and learn how I work. Together, we will identify your immediate needs and begin developing a treatment plan that is tailored to your unique situation. There is no pressure to share everything at once—we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I look forward to partnering with you to help you achieve meaningful growth and lasting positive change.
